Instructions for editing the .bash_profile make it seem like it already exists and generic 'home' directory doesn't specify if it's the current shell user or the actual high level home directory.

Could not find .bash_profile

Editing the .bash_profile destroys some of the other environment variables that get applied with .profile since .bash_profile takes precedence (things like color coding and some other environment display settings). It would be better to insert the "source infraclass/config" command at the end of the .profile file rather than creating a .bash_profile file.
