Ok, so the piece missing from the instructions wa to get into the correct project. Seemed a little complicated for what is essentially a gui with a terminal interface attached. I would like a little more high-level description to complement the "touch this button, hover here" instructions.

I ran into trouble almost right off the bat - I didn't have permissions once I had completed step 1. Message: You don't have permission to view the Storage Browser or Storage Settings pages in this project. Hoping that I can skip this and do the cloud shell part. Definitely a permissions problem: AccessDeniedException: 403 Caller does not have storage.buckets.create access to project 1030115194620.
