I have detected a possible outdated code that gives error when following the tutorial. I have fixed it adding the following lines: y_train = y_train.astype('int') y_test = y_test.astype('int') Just after the line 365 ("logging.info('Training pipelines in CV')") of the task.py file.

Difficulty in creating dataset. The BigQuery dataset did not show up in search results in Vertex AI dataset.

The lab was helpful up through model training. For some reason I kept getting the error Training pipeline failed with error message: There are no files under "gs://qwiklabs-gcp-02-36ace5935f49-bucket/titanic/model/model" to copy. and it wasn't clear to me why. I tried 3 different times. I was confused because under "Training Pipelines" it said the job failed, but under "Custom Jobs" it said the job completed. Not sure if I missed step upstream or not.
