I’m giving this lab 1 star because the progress checker failed to recognise correctly completed work. For Tasks 3 and 4, I created the required BigQuery tables using the exact SQL provided in the lab instructions: ecommerce.sales_by_sku_20170801 ecommerce.sales_by_sku_20170802 I verified the table names, schemas, row counts and inserted records through BigQuery and INFORMATION_SCHEMA. The SQL queries ran successfully, the expected results were returned, and the multiple-choice answers were accepted. However, the lab repeatedly displayed: “Please run a query to create a new table with given configuration.” I refreshed the interface, recreated the tables, reran the joins, used the exact suggested queries and even repeated the lab in a fresh environment, but the checker still failed. This turned a straightforward learning exercise into a long troubleshooting session caused by the platform rather than the course content. The lab should not penalise learners when the required resources clearly exist and the expected results are correct. The validation system needs to be fixed and tested more thoroughly.
