error service account doesns't exist

SOLVED. There is a problem with the last step of the lab. It shows an error related with the default service account that said that doesn't exists. No matter if the service account is deleted an "undeleted" or to use another service account in the gcloud functions deploy arguments, it never recognized the service account. Solution was in the implementation of "Update service account permissions" instructions in the "Calling and Connecting Cloud Functions"

Tried this lab one more time today after two failed attempts yesterday. I see the region change from europe-west4 to us-east4. I confirm it works perfectly now and I managed to finish the whole lab. So, many thanks to the team behind the platform for your reactivity !
