Kubernetes deployment problem with version api/v1beta. Changing to api/v1 solves this problem but then lab progress not validates

The frontend-deployment.yaml and backend-deployment.yaml are out of date. I tried updating the apiVersion and corrected the syntax. I believe the resources were created, however, the "Creating Kubernetes Deployment and Service Resources" progress never worked.

Since yaml file has been obsoleted, I could not complete this lab even if I tried to modernize the yaml file.

It could have been useful, but I couldn't find alot of the menu options until I was later in the lesson. More screenshots in the instructions would have been super useful. I also couldn't deploy with the yaml files that were provided (after modifying the 3 values I was asked to modify). It seemed there were issues with the apiVersion and lack of a spec.selector tag. I did some research to try to figure it out but wouldn't have been able to get it in the time allowed probably. I was not able to finish the lab without deploying which I was disappointed by.
