You have a flaw in your documentation that will give people an invalid API key error. The CURL statements contain a $ for the API key, this should be removed. Including the $ character causes this error, removing it makes it work though. You have this on 3 CURL statements in these instructions. I opened a case with the Qwiklabs support group but hoping this is more direct and faster to get the issue resolved.
