Products and Service > Networking > Networks has been updated to: Compute > Networking > VPC Networks The overlapping network messaging is different than the lab. Traceroute isn’t automatically included in the Debian Linux 9 (stretch) build, which is the default selection. It is included in Linux 8 (Jessie). I ran out of time in the lab to figure out how to install in 9. Waste of time. Easier to rebuild these lab VMs with Jessie. Consider updating lab instructions to use Jessie instead of the default.

some thimgs are missing, like the fact that the VM doest no have traceroute installed

The traceroute command is not recognized by the shell.

Traceroute may not be installed on the instances

1. Products and Services -> Networking -> Networks e de fapt VPC networks 2. Create Network e Create VPC Network 3. traceroute is not installed on the debian machines. sudo apt-get install traceroute is needed. 4. traceroute to learn-2 external ip address fails even if ping works (probably because of step 5) 5. Creation of the default firewall rule for the learncustom network is ambiguous. The text states to target the tags but the picture targets All instances in the network. If you follow the picture than the lab behaves differently than intended. 6. Tags are now Network tags in GCE. 7. Deletion of a VPC Networks works after a couple of minutes after the firewall rules are deleted. 8. Delete project is now Shutdown
