Lambda function was designed to receive input from SNS but there were no instructions to demonstrate how SNS topic was supposed to publish to Lambda. Instead Lambda execution triggered Cloud Watch which triggered SNS. This was a weirdly written lab. The other two objectives of BASE 64 encoding the URL and setting up IAM was not covered in the instructions. This lab needs to be rewritten and more importantly re-reviewed!

Pretty basic integration with Slack

Some things I wanted to know more about: (1) what are Lambda function handlers (2) in the 'Create Alarm` window of CloudWatch, what does `State is OK` mean and (3) what is the `Period` and `Statistic` of an alarm and (4) what was the point of enabling email notifications in this lab?
