I was not able to get the EC2 instances to respond to HTTP traffic with the instructions given. Since my user is restricted, I was not able to diagnose the issue within the time constraints of the lab. * Tried pasting the user data, and typing manually * Cycled the instances * Checked the EC2 system logs * Made sure the AMI was correct * Made sure the Security Group setting were correct, but added and removed the http rules just in case * Made sure status checks came back positive before trying each step
