unfortunately there was some issue on the backend, because of which the Loadbalancer never came up. I tried to recreate the LB, and other troubleshooting. However, it still didnt work! I did not have enough access to find the root cause of the failure

Would be good to add in some failure scenarios to observe these in CloudWatch. I took some time at the end to stop an instance and check the monitoring graph.

There is a missing instruction in step 23 where one have to select the correct vpc for the elb. I would also say, the lab should have demonstrated failover.
