I'm pretty sure I did all the steps as instructed, but the check failed. I got partial points after I created a new cluster called "standard-cluster-1", as per the screenshots in the instructions, but that name was neither requested to be used, nor is it the default in GCP. Given how long cluster updates take, I ran out of time. Note that it also seems a bit of overkill/pitfall to ask people to pick the oldest version. There are currently three major versions available, and if I pick the oldest one first, then I need to run two master updates to get to the newest version, as it is not possible to skip a major version. That takes even longer and is not described either. --- I tried a second time, this time the create cluster UI was different (A/B test?), the cluster name matched. It still ended up a 2/5 points, despite me completing the tasks to the best of my knowledge.

Even on completing all steps it is not completing lab score 5/5 , it is pending on 2/5

Lot of problem with the "check my progress" mechanism. Despite the fact I upgraded the cluster as instructed (from lower to higher) version - check mechanism shown "not completet". second trial with the different versions worked, but the versions are not aligned with the instruction....

In first run of this lab no was evaluated as positively finished despite it was fullfiled correctly. In second run no is possibile generate new cluster: "The user does not have access to service account "default". Ask a project owner to grant you the iam.serviceAccountUser role on the service account."

SUPER PEEVED! I need to finish and earn a certificate for work and I've spent nearly 40 minutes waiting for the second "check my work" to reflect that my nodes and master are on the same most recent version of Kubernetes. This is my second time trying to close this. Where do I submit notification that you all have a problem. Is the test looking for us to use the same versions in the lab, then MAKE THAT MORE EXPLICIT! WHAT A WASTE. That I have to even give a single star is unacceptable.

Even after updating the default-pool the score does not update

Lab content and steps are pretty straight forward, but Score is only updating up to 2/5 despite having only one checkbox. Master and all Nodes are upgrading successfully in the GCP Console though.
