in the gcp console you MUST supply the disk encryption key to decrypt first and then you MUST again supply some key for reencryption. Both fields are mandatory in the webinterface. in the lab instructionns this was not explained (it was only said to input the vm key once and that you may choose another key but not the theory about reencryption).
