I couldn't create the VM instance csek-demo, it gave me an error stating the 500GB quota has been exceeded.

Quotas for qwiklabs changed...the exercise specifies a 500Gb limit for ssd disk, and if the settings are not changed to regular disk then the quota will be exeeded and the vm creation will fail.
