This was a poorly developed lab. Almost all of the steps in each tasks were never discussed in the labs leading up to this challenge lab. I highly recommend the "Develop and Secure APIs with Apigee X" quest/path be retested and adjusted. I would not recommend this to anyone.

As a software engineer, the APIGEE experience is not great. I would much rather write the actual code that does variable extraction from query params and then create a new payload that I submit to the relevant api, using an sdk for that api. All of this can run on cloud run. While coding I get great linting in my ide instead of editing XML, which is a rough experience. The lab, however is good and this final test was not just a walk over like the previous ones, but I would actually need to study the apigee docs more in order to pass. Since neither myself nor the company I work at will ever use apigee, I will not do this, but it was still good to learn about what apigee is.
