Great HOWTO, but: MAKE SURE YOU FORCE THE RIGHT REGION AT STEP 21 when creating the KMS key. Otherwise the step 35-37 will not be looking as expected and steps 56-58 will fail because EMR can't find the KMS key.

This lab didn't perform a map reduce. Got stuck on an issue where I had created my EMR cluster in a different region than my key and had a bunch of permission issues. Very hard to debug.
