I am not sure why. This is the second time I am running the EFS Lab. For some reason, I can connect but when it gets to the point of sending a 10GB file to the EFS storage, it stays on this until my lab time runs out.

Creating the file on the efs storage either took more than 4 minutes or failed. I did not wait for it to finish. Cloudwatch was already showing the metrics. Might be a fallout of that s3 outage incident...
