I had a few problems as a novice. I could not find the services menu option for the longest time because I though it would be on the EC2 screen, but I finally realized it was on the banner of the window. You might want to clarify that. Also I couldn't connect with putty to the instance. I assume it was a firewall issue or some other security issue. Am I supposed to be connecting on port 22 for ssh or do I need to connect to my TCP port of 2049?
