The Lab did not have info for me to proceed.When I clicked on Instances,there were no instances already configured with the Elastic IP and hence I could not proceed.

「インスタンスを選択する」というところでインスタンスがありませんでした。作成する必要があるのであればその旨記載すべきと思います。 前回はインスタンスを作成してみたのですが、DNSとの紐付けがうまくいかなったと記憶しております。ELBでもインスタンスがなかったことがあり、学習に使えない状態が続いています。 選択するリージョンが悪いのでしょうか・・・（東京を選択）。

Route 53 region is Global. You need to look through the regions for your EC2 instance. Good step to add to the instructions, and better if you can tell which region.
