step 47 of the lab is not 100% clear. The S3 endpoint will include an http://www.domain.blah prefix BEFORE the s3 bits start. The Record Set in Route 53 only wants the endpoint fragment starting with 's3' .... excluding the http:.//www.domain.blah prefix that is included in the endpoint on the s3 page.
