didn't feel like I learned that much aside from my outside reading. Very much just walking through motions. Explain more of the configuration that's going on!

kinesis client could not connect to "mystream", even though it was active in the firehose console. 2017-01-08 09:51:49.350+0000 ip-10-0-0-173 (sender-36) com.amazon.kinesis.streaming.agent.tailing.AsyncPublisher [ERROR] AsyncPublisher[kinesis:mystream:/tmp/app.log*]:RecordBuffer(id=2,records=11,bytes=674) Retriable send error (com.amazonaws.services.kinesis.model.ResourceNotFoundException: Stream mystream under account 345124621412 not found. Multiple steps were not able to be performed as described, check AWS for changes they made that no longer follow your script
