For some reason, I could not get the IoT portion to work in Chrome, but switched to Firefox and it worked fine.

Nice lab, unfortunately the suggestion in 'Going Further' where adding a rule which writes in DynamoDB (didn't try the lambda function) cannot be executed due to insufficient rights. It could make sense to enabled this as well (or remove the suggestion).
