I wanted to understand better how to control the thermostat and not just get notifications of when my home is a good temperature, also why a good temperature instead of outside of a good temperature. I altered the simulater.js to turn the A/C on when it got to hot and off when it got too cold and the shadow kept overwriting me. I believe this is because the control is expected to come from Amazon, but not told how.

Easy to follow, but I cannot turn off the ac when setting airconditioningIsOn to false in the Shadow device.
