Would have been better experience working with AWS if NOT encountered ERROR under "Log Groups " with message "This IAM user does not have permission to view Log Groups in this account."

Outdated instructions. The lab didn't work, the Source by default is Disabled, so you must enable it by hand. The View Logs leads to this IAM user has no permissions. Will give you a general idea on how to create a bucket and first function, but that's about all it does.
