easy enough to follow, but needs to teach more about WHAT student is doing and WHY. that would make it easier to apply what is learned.

I hope there is a follow up lab which is a little more involved. Perhaps this one could use a couple more simple examples, so the lab isn't ending just when it seems like it should be getting interesting.
