SSH not allowed to AWS Oregon, so could not do part 2 of the meeting (only allowed to North Virginia from office firewall policy). Would be great if you could have let me choose where the lab environment was.

Finally got it to work. the order of item entry in the dynamodb seems to matter on how dynamostream can /cannot trigger lambda to update another table. need to investigate a bit more.
