One command line step did not work for me: [ec2-user@ip-172-31-25-3 ~]$ aws autoscaling put-notification-configuration --auto-scaling-group-name lab-as-group --topic-arn arn:aws:sns:us-west-2:376272950434:lab-as-topic:ca0fe584-5577-46b9-8f94-80d48eef4303 --notification-types "autoscaling:EC2_INSTANCE_LAUNCH" "autoscaling:EC2_INSTANCE_TERMINATE" A client error (ValidationError) occurred when calling the PutNotificationConfiguration operation: Invalid parameter: Topic Name I finished the lab by researching the topic and completing the step in the web management console.
