There are some default settings in the initial stack configuration that could use a bit of explanation or at least a reference to appropriate online docs.

Good, but it should be made clear that the Elastic Load Balancer that is required several steps in is only available in the US-West 2 (Oregon) region. I created a stack in a US-East region, which did not have the ELB.

Unable to use lab login. In case I use my login it gives error during create stack.
