The examples in the download files are out of date, and do not work.

There's a discrepancy between the lab text and the provided Template2.json. If the text is followed the second template fails to deploy. The "InstanceType" parameter specified in the text uses t2 instances which require HVM AMI support – the AMI's provided in the lab do not, causing the stack deployment to fail. The parameter in Template2.json uses m1 instances and works correctly.

Not sure the expected time is correct here. Also it would appear that the key attribute has an issue and rolled back when I referenced the PEM. Will need to go back and re-read on those steps.
