The pair of early instructions, "In the AWS Management Console, on the Services menu, click Amazon Redshift" and "Click Launch cluster", seem to be missing a step in between because Launch Cluster wasn't available to me on the Redshift entrance page, only "Quick Launch Cluster". I later found plain "Launch Cluster" after going to the Clusters page.
