I wish there was a way to see some performance charts for access to the origin server and CF endpoint from various world locations. That would make the lab effort/reward more tangible.

The initial CloudFront setup is interesting and effective. The optimization section seems out of date and lacks explanation of many parameters now available for cache controls. The S3 bucket that is supposed to contain the custom error pages is in fact empty, resulting to XML-format error responses from the server.
