Great intro, but the meager 1h55m doesn't actually allow you to write out the json and make the changes. Would have liked to see a few more use cases for how cloudformation can help with managing infrastructure.

Difficult to follow, config options and backend operations not explained well. It was more of an intermediate course in the level of detail and explanation that was left out

This lab has some good information. However, in order to accomplish it in the time given, you will have to simply use example files rather than working through anything on your own. I think that really limits the usefulness-- the lab as written is more like a good reference example than a lab you can learn from. You'll probably need to use the PDF in your own time and go through it in more detail with more time.
