I did enjoy the static website session using WordPress, I have Joomla application and web services locally in place and may use it with CloudFront, S3, and EC2 for future projects.

I cannot connect to EC2 from putty from within the Verizon network. Hence had to go offline. Thankfully I was on VPN and could complete it. But if I were taking this from an office location, credits would have been wasted. Second Verizon network policies do not allow me to view the S3 hosted static url. This lab had great content but couldn't make use of it.

I have always wanted to tryout WordPress, so this was a nice preview of what's available in that application. Hosting the site using AWS is what I had in mind, so it was also great to see how easy setting it up actually is.
