I think it needs more explanation of why we're copying content from EC2 over to S3. I don't think beginners to AWS will understand that.

The wpstatic script from git is broken had to user another source. good lab but the end note of things to think about would be better with more of a summary at the beginning. I found myself wondering why you would run a blog that people cannot comment on very early on.

cronjob does not update content automatically, as stated in instructions, which defeats the purpose of a cronjob and updates. Somewhat useless.
