EMR Cluster creation in North Virginia fails, because the instance size is not supported (m3). Selecting a different instance size (m4) results in an IAM permission error. When trying to set up the cluster in a different region (e.g. Frankfurt), the cluster remains in the Starting stage indefinitely. In a nutshell, the lab does not work.
