depVM is not ready

The subject material is straightforward but the provided Iam hasnt been tested with this lab. Lab packages are missing & need to be installed. Pip is broken & if fully updated causes an exception with boto... a bit of a mess.

The eb start is not working!

My connection was unstable and I had to connect again through ssh. After that, some environment variables were lost and the command "eb" was not recognized anymore. I then looked in the web how to install it and a different (probably newer) version was installed, but the commands were different (ep start did not exist). I then tried ep deploy instead and absolutely nothing worked anymore... I finished reading the guide and taking some new learning from it, but being unable to do the step-by-step guidance.

pages 16 and following of the lab instructions are blank for me. First problem of this type I've had. Nothing changed in my environment. (My own fault, in a way, for not reading through to the end before starting.)
