This lab is COMPLETELY messed up. * use sudo!: sudo pip install boto * eb command is not in PATH variable (took time to figure that out) -- use ../../AWS-ElasticBeanstalk-CLI-2.6.4/eb/linux/python2.7/eb init * The closest linux image I could find was: 16) 64bit Amazon Linux 2014.03 v1.1.0 running Python 2.7 I can't believe this lab charges me $15 but it's completely not functional. Couldn't get the website up and running. I believe the lab is outdated.

Very Good Lab. I would be nice to explain that you can break Beanstalk if you try to configure things out side of its area. For instance, updating cross availability on the ELB and the same location in beanstalk will get out of sink.
