手順どおり (1) apigee-internal-access SA を作成、(2) Cloud Run サービスへ roles/run.invoker を付与、(3) <GoogleIDToken> 認証を設定し当該 SA でプロキシをデプロイ、まで実施しましたが、テスト VM からのリクエストが HTTP 500 / GoogleTokenGenerationFailure で失敗しました。 Apigee サービスエージェント (service-<PROJECT_NUMBER>@gcp-sa-apigee.iam.gserviceaccount.com) に対し、デプロイ用 SA (apigee-internal-access) への roles/iam.serviceAccountTokenCreator を明示的に付与したところ解消しました。この手順が lab に含まれていないため、追記をご検討ください。

Is not very clearly explained what is the goal of creating this proxy for the service. Also not sure how the geocoding API integrated. Maybe explaining a situation in which you will need this would make it more clear
