I was having trouble connecting my PostgreSQL client back to my RDS instance using the endpoint, I was able to ping the server and it's alive. When I attempted to execute from the PostgreSQL client "firstdb=> create extension postgis;" I got back the result that in only the Pro version would work, that's when I ran out of time. Thanks again.
