The Cloudformation took so long that I thought the process was hung. A more definite warning ("the Cloudformation step can take over 5 minutes") in the doc would be helpful. Also, Cloudfront did not cache for me, at all, although I followed the lab instructions.

While it revealed how slow it is to invalidate an object in CloudFront, it's something you'd keep in mind if you'd like to use CloudFront for content acceleration or full-site delivery.
