It is missing setting metadata "max-age=XX". Doing so for files in S3 makes the exercise a lot more clear.

Behavior described in lab for caching does not match reality. the CloudFront URL simply redirects to the S3 bucket URL so it's not possible to test the caching as described in the lab.
