Not sure what I did wrong but the CloudFormation url was redirecting to the S3 public URL every time. I reviewed the documentation and I think I did not make any mistake.

Very good lab. Go for coffee break when publishing CloudFront content. This is not a complaint just acknowledging that pushing updates to 50+ sites takes time.
