It's looks like some of instruction in these lab does not very clear, e.g. in Default Caching Behaviour , if you accept default option , CloudFront will always throw X-Cache:Miss from cloudfront. but for custom TTL CloudFront cached as expected.

I'm not sure if there's something missing. I didn't get same result as in the lab guide.

I don't think lab is configured correctly? Unable to view invalidation demo properly because browser redirects CloudFront URL (http://d1y00qwgd1x7c3.cloudfront.net/cf_lab1.html) to S3 URL (http://qlstack2-labinstance-178816-cb2ca201-579-s3bucket-z715t8izpy9p.s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/cf_lab1.html) so the CloudFront refresh is not demonstrating what it's supposed to.
