lab seemed to setup resources in cloudformation template that ultimately were not used, e.g,. an EC2 instance that we didn't use. Large files in bucket that slowed thing down that didn't appear to be used.

had some dns issues with the first cloudfront dist. had to create a second one to get it to work.
