It seems the caching mechanism of CloudFront may have changed significantly. When deleting the cf_lab1.html file the changes were immediately reflected on both the S3 URL and the CloudFront URL. When replacing the missing file cf_lab1.html with the ...highlands.html file again the change was immediately apparent. I'm left with the idea that the exercise in invalidating the cf_lab1.html file was a waste of time. Perhaps the caching is still in effect and it was somehow updating much faster than the expected 24 hours and invalidating deprecated files is still necessary? I have no idea. This is confusing. The first half of the lab was useful in learning the steps to link an S3 bucket to CloudFront.

the lab was a bit slow and the txt file did not have the test html commands.
