I took a look at the Ruby app that was used, I hope that's okay... I'm more interested in how to work with the APIs and such, so the code in the Ruby app is more interesting than setting up servers. It is amazing how easy EC2 and DynamoDB are to use though! Wow!

Had a problem after the instance was setup with the app, whenever trying to upload an image would get: ["base", ["ERROR: either storing to S3 of inserting to DynamoDB One or more parameter values were invalid: Missing the key String in the item"]]

This lab lacks any depth of explaining the underlying concepts of the tools in use. You're mostly just going through the motions of creating a webserver, database, and bucket, and letting the script you are provided handle all of the connections.
