Following the instructions (US Standard for region) made the buckets appear in different regions which means the scripts don't work unless you fix the index.html region manually.

Step 35 says "Click EDIT CORS COnfiguration" - The option in the console is actually "Add CORS Configuration". Good tutorial about S3.
