It defaulted to US-WEST-2 for my region, and I didn't notice instructions to change to US-EAST-1, or to update the index.html, and it took a bit of time to puzzle that out.

I didn't read the instructions carefully and created both buckets in us-west-2. The code assumes us-east-1 and won't run anywhere else. It might have been nice to include in the instructions why this is.
