A majority of the lab was a nice introduction to the various tools to do a basic audit. The VPC review did not really accomplish anything. The NACLs are vanilla so... Cloudwatch did not seem to have much purpose. No alarms configured.

This was a great lab. I loved the Splunk reference as it points out the great 3rd party integration cloudwatch has with other vendors. I liked the advice on using the Notepad++ JSON plugin. I was able to install that plugin in less than 5 minutes. This guidance saved me alot of time trying to find a JSON viewer online.

Add an optional section at the end to create / delete an alarm. The lab just fits into the time budget for an expericed user who has used the service, it would be pretty close in time for a new user or a user who has not actively been using AWS.
