This lab is less complete that the Linux "equivalent". It doesn't cover setting up an Elastic IP for the instance, which is included in the Linux lab.

Was unable to RDP into the windows web server and could not complete the web server configuration steps. using the public ip or the dns name did not resolve properly from my pc.

I spent 15 minutes trying to get the windows password to load and it never loaded. Micro size instance might be too slow for this lab w/ win2016. The win2012 lab ran fine. I ran the lab a second time and did the install for IIS through RDP. Perhaps the PS script is taking too long.
